This is a natural wood product. For extra peace of mind, you may choose to lightly bake natural wood items before first use.
Optional preparation:
Place in a domestic oven at 90–100°C for 30–45 minutes, then allow to cool completely before placing in the enclosure.
Always supervise pets with new items and remove if damaged or excessively chewed.
Natural Cork Bark Slab
Natural cork bark for enrichment and naturalistic hamster setups.
Ideal for climbing, chewing, and creating covered pathways. Best used as enrichment or cover rather than a main sleeping hide.

We recommend freezing all sprays and foraging items for 48 hours, allowing them to defrost for 24 hours, and then freezing again for a further 48 hours.
This process helps ensure the items are completely pest-free and safe for your small animals.
