❄️ Important Hygiene Advice – Freezing Natural Products
As with all natural and organic forage, we strongly recommend freezing items before first use.
Recommended freezing process:
- Place products in the zip-lock or kraft bag provided.
- Freeze for 48 hours.
- Remove from the freezer and leave at room temperature for 24 hours.
- Freeze again for a further 48 hours before use.
This process is recommended to:
eliminate mites or insects that can naturally occur in dried plant products
reduce the survivability of any remaining eggs through the second freeze cycle
